I did this for a good friend of mine. She wanted something that symbolized missing someone. I initially intended it to have a divide similar to this [link] but after spending a week figuring out how to actually do it, I didn't like how it looked.

My friend...I have been chasing after the origin of this image for so long... I want to thank you, not only for creating such an amazing piece of art, but also for sharing it. love the colors and love the island. Overall fantastic work. However, I think the fading of the two side should be aggressive i mean no fading at all or may be fade it by using more area of both side.

My boyfriend moved away about a month ago, and this desktop perfectly immulates how I've been feeling.

I love the contrasts, and the quotes near the corners are a nice touch.
